Ansonia Clock Co., New York, "Franconia" mantel clock with an 8 day spring driven time and strike movement with visible escapement and a cartouche dial in a silvered spelter case featuring flying gargoyles to the sides, a bird below the dial and profuse scrolls and swirls, surmounted by a winged urn.
CONDITION:
This uncommon model has been professionally restored with a silvery finish and is in excellent condition. The dial and hands are original and in excellent condition. The beveled glass in the dial sash is free of any chips. The movement is signed.
